Vincent’s bedroom in Arles is the name of three paintings, made by van Gogh between 1888 and 1889, now kept at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. The last two versions were made by van Gogh during his voluntary hospitalization in the asylum of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, as if he wanted to recover and cling to the memory of a happy period for him. The painting is in fact a portrait of his bedroom in the “yellow house” of Arles, where the artist had taken refuge with the hope of creating an atelier of avant-garde painters.
The tiles of the Jigsaw puzzle are contained in a natural linen bag and packaged in an exclusive box to protect it during transport.
