Le Chat noir was a famous place in Montmartre, Paris, founded in 1881 by Rodolphe Salis. Here many artists met, including Théophile Alexandre Steinlen who at the time was also a friend of Toulouse Lautrec . Steinlen loved to draw popular scenes and funny cats and in Le Chat noir there were many of his paintings. Among these, in addition to a concert of cats on the roofs of Montmartre, there was above all the famous sign with the black cat posted on the cabaret door.
The tiles of the Jigsaw puzzle are contained in a natural linen bag and packaged in an exclusive wooden box to protect it during transport.
